We deliver adventure by mail in the form of puzzles, stories and collectibles. Since 2013 we've delivered tens of thousands of suspicious packages worldwide! Our experiences are a mix of hand-crafted letters, aged newspaper clippings, forged documents, maps, codes, trinkets, statues and artifacts that tell an intriguing story, frequently delivered in an uncooperative wooden crate. The apparent authenticity of the physical components is unsurpassed (and has resulted in the occasional uncomfortable encounter with customs agents, police, and/or intelligence agencies).

Position Summary:

You are a digital marketing expert with an interest in marketing creative products.

You have either purchased one of our products in the past, or you feel compelled to now that you know about us. Either way, you feel a strong alignment with our brand and a general excitement about marketing the company and our products.

You can manage digital marketing channels (email, paid social, search, display) and the analytics tools needed to measure and optimize your efforts. You are also comfortable building relationships and the guerrilla-tactics needed to get earned media via PR and influencers.

You aren't scared of ghosts. Except for knife ghosts.

Areas of Expertise:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of digital marketing experience. Success in the position will require expertise in the following areas:

• Customer definition
• Ability to create customer profiles based on the available analytics, conducting surveys and doing research
• Brand strategy and management
• Experience working with senior management to define brand objectives and the specific associations we want customers to have with the company
• Monitoring and maintaining brand consistency across all channels
• E-commerce optimization (Shopify Plus experience preferred)
• Experience establishing and monitoring KPIs for e-commerce websites
• Ability to utilize results to plans and test improvements systematically
• Email marketing
• Experience managing email campaigns for e-commerce or SaaS products
• Ability to measure KPIs and develop tests to improve performance
• Paid advertising (Facebook lead generation and retargeting; Google search, display and retargeting)
• Experience managing lead generation campaigns utilizing advanced targeting features in Facebook Ad Manager and Google Ads
• Ability to set up dynamic product ad retargeting for both Facebook and Google
• PR and influencer outreach
• Experience identifying and managing outreach to publishers and influencers that are brand-aligned and brand-relevant to generate earned media coverage
• Expertise in developing and creating compelling pitch materials (such as media releases and press packages) for use in media and influencer relations
• Ability to manage a robust influencer relations program, including identification of priority influencers, relationship-building, and strategy and execution on official collaborations and outreach
• Analytics and optimization
• Experience utilizing a wide variety of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Shopify Analytics etc.) to develop a global view of marketing performance using relative measures as needed (CPA, CPC, CPM etc.)
• Experience with attribution modeling
• Managing budgets, performance and staff
• Experience with full accountability for a marketing budget and associated revenue targets
• Ability to manage a small team
• Unconventional and/or Extreme Marketing
• Ability to think outside the box and generate strange, startling, experimental and potentially disturbing new methods of reaching and persuading consumers
